Through The Friends’ program and service delivery, seniors, adults with disabilities and caregivers receive the support they need to continue living safely and with dignity. From home care for seniors to programs that provide caregiver respite, these services bring independence, and reassurance to individuals and families across our region.

Legacy Giving
The Friends is a non-profit charitable organization and legacy giving has made a tremendous impact on our organization. A bequest from an individual in Muskoka allowed the agency to renovate what was once an old bowling alley in Gravenhurst at 141 Sharpe Street East. This derelict building is now an attractive, functioning space providing programs and services to seniors five days a week as well as providing two affordable apartments for members of the community.
Please, talk with us about a lasting legacy in memory of a loved one, planning your estate in advance or a gift of stock. Your bequest will make a difference in the quality of life for others.
