Independent Living Assistants provide service to individuals with physical disabilities and/or seniors by supporting them in their home with personal care, activities of daily living and encouraging/facilitating client ability to gain/maintain independence.

*There is a $3/hour wage enhancement that is included in the wage range listed above.

These programs are designed to support and assist clients with activities of daily living while encouraging/facilitating client ability to gain/maintain independence. The duties of this position will include: bathing, dressing, toileting, medication reminders, light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Qualifications:
$22.95-$26.00
* $3/hour wage enhancement is included in the above rates
* Mileage reimbursement (66 cents/km between client visits)
*10-16 hours per week

PSW or equivalent experience
Experience in caregiving, senior care, assisted living, or home care is preferred.
Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is a plus.
Knowledge of meal preparation is beneficial.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
